Museum of Street Art

Worth a detourBowery, Manhattan

Take the elevator to the 20th floor of a hotel and walk down 20 flights; the stairwell is the museum. Really cool.

What it is

Filling up a 21-floor staircase inside the citizenM hotel, 20 graffiti artists from the art collective 5Pointz were each invited to paint one floor with a specific theme related to the Bowery and Lower East Side.
